What to Expect with the 2023 Subaru Forester

One of the more exciting developments we have seen in keeping up with the latest Subaru news is the incoming 2023 Subaru Forester, which is expected to hit the roads, and car lots, in late fall of this year (2022). 

This Year’s Model

An upgrade from the 2022 model of the Forester, you can expect the 2023 edition to have the same features that made the previous year’s model so great, such as the symmetrical all-wheel drive and 9.2-inch ground clearance that sets it apart from other SUVs by competitors such as Toyota’s RAV4. 

But, you can also expect the 2023 Forester to take things further, with the expected changes ranging from stylistic, such as wheel design change or a greater variety of exterior paint colors, to something perhaps as substantial as an engine upgrade (the 2022 already boasts a stellar 2.5 L 4-cylinder.) 

Why Spring For The Forester?

Though it has plenty of crossover appeal for city-bound and suburban drivers, the 2023 Subaru Forester is an SUV that is a great fit for adventurous types. 

The Forester has a spacious interior perfect for making long drives more comfortable, not to mention accommodating, for whatever cargo you may be bringing along for your camping excursion. 

The exterior is just as fit for traversing through those dirt trails and other, more challenging terrain. Protective plastic cladding helps guard against wearing, tearing, and dirtying elements you may find yourself braving on an expedition. 

Different Models of The Forester?

You can expect the 2023 Subaru Forester to offer a similar variety of models as previous years do, such as the Sport, with its superior blind spot detection and rear-cross traffic alerting system, to the Touring, with its multimedia navigation system and all-weather air conditioning and heating system. 

Perhaps most notable of the many models is the Wilderness, which features water-repellent upholstery and a hill descent control system, making it the perfect model for the outdoorsy drivers.

Technologically Advanced Safety Features

The Forester features Subaru EyeSight, which is a monitoring system that can track the front, rear, and sides of your vehicle and alert you to hazards to your safety, such as cross-traffic. 

The Forester even has an automatic braking system that kicks in whenever you are close to collision, assisting you in preventing crashes on the road.
