Happy Subaru Loves Pets Month!

October is Subaru Loves Pets Month, and we’re excited to announce that we’re partnering with Harrison County Animal Control & Shelter to help find loving homes for pets in need.

At Neil Huffman Subaru, we love animals just as much as we love our cars. That’s why we’re committed to supporting our local animal shelters and helping them find homes for all of their adoptable pets.

We encourage everyone to get involved in Subaru Loves Pets Month and help us make a difference in the lives of animals in our community. Even if you’re not able to adopt a pet, you can still help by donating to or volunteering with Harrison County Animal Control.

Here are a few other ways you can celebrate Subaru Loves Pets Month:

• Adopt a pet from a local shelter: If you’re thinking about getting a pet, please consider adopting from a local shelter. There are so many wonderful animals waiting for their forever homes.
• Donate to a pet rescue organization: If you’re unable to adopt a pet, you can still help by donating to a pet rescue organization. Many shelters rely on donations to provide food, medical care, and other essential services to their animals.
• Volunteer your time at a shelter or rescue organization: Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community and help animals in need. There are many different ways to volunteer, such as walking dogs, cleaning cages, or helping with adoption events.

Additionally, we will celebrate the Underdogs on October 22, 2003 — the 5th annual National Make A Dog’s Day. This special date invites all dog lovers to do something special for their furry companions and encourages people to consider adopting an Underdog.
