This small crossover is truly small — and we mean that in a good way. The XV Crosstrek sips fuel due to its modest size and efficient four-cylinder engine, but it takes a big bite out of the off-roads thanks to extra ground clearance and a nicely tuned suspension.

One of the most impressive aspects of this sporty vehicle is that while it boasts so many SUV-like characteristics, it handles much like a car does — and that’s because it’s based on the Impreza compact sedan. You could basically call this family hauler an Impreza wagon and the XV Crosstrek would answer.
