This month, as part of our annual Subaru Loves to Care initiative, we had the immense privilege of delivering a little extra warmth, distraction, and encouragement to patients who need it most.
In partnership with the Ohio River Vallery chapter of Blood Cancer United (formerly known as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), Team Huffman headed over to the Baptist Health Charles and Mimi Osborn Cancer Center right here in Louisville to drop off some very special deliveries.
Delivering Comfort and Smiles
Facing a medical journey can be taxing, both physically and emotionally. Through this year’s initiative, our goal was to provide tangible reminders to patients at Baptist Health that they are not fighting alone. Thanks to the incredible support of our community and staff, we were able to deliver:

Cozy Blankets: Soft, warm blankets to provide physical comfort and a touch of home during long treatments.

Activity Kits: Engaging games and activities to help pass the time and offer a welcome distraction for patients and their families.

Messages of Hope: Heartfelt, handwritten notes written by our team and visitors, offering words of encouragement and solidarity.
A Shared Mission with Blood Cancer United
This impactful day wouldn't have been possible without our wonderful partners. We are incredibly proud to team up with Blood Cancer United. While they have a fresh new name to represent the 100+ types of blood cancers they fight every day, their mission remains the same: funding breakthrough research and providing direct, unwavering support to patients and their families.
We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to the phenomenal healthcare professionals and staff at Baptist Health. Their dedication to providing top-tier care and emotional support to cancer patients in our community is nothing short of inspiring.
